Starting Fall 2007, a new Program structure is in effect. We are part of the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management. Our new title is “Recreation and Tourism Management Program.” Our partner within the School is “Hospitality Management.” Thus, the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management consists of two programs:
  1. Recreation and Tourism Management
  2. Hospitality Management.

The Recreation and Tourism Management Program has undergone several curricular changes and our new focus is on Professional Leadership. The Recreation and Tourism Management Program now offers a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Recreation Administration with emphases in two areas:

  1. Recreation Management
  2. Outdoor Resource Management
  3. A third emphasis in Sustainable Tourism Management will be offered starting Fall 2008.
